The Artist
I started my painting journey after the first time I used oil paint. It was the first time I ever became interested in painting and intrigued as to what painting could to do for me. I was born and raised in Mexico City, and later on at the age of 15 I moved to Canada to complete my high school years.
With a focus on my own cultural identity, I explore the meanings of ancient beliefs and symbols, and how they interact into today’s world and my own life.
